Elvis owned a 1954 Cadillac which burnt up accidentally. He then purchased a brand new 1955 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 60 which he gave to his Mother. The Original color was powder blue with a black roof. Elvis wanted the roof kept black and the body re-painted a custom pink by his neighbor who dubbed it ‘Elvis Rose’. The infamous pink and black Cadillac in my painting is rarely seen in any photos with Elvis. After another accident in 1956, the original black color roof was repainted white. The same car is on display at Graceland.
